6. Activities

Listen to the song: Daily routines. Pupils will listen to the song everyday at the beginning of the class.              

Watch video Healthy Habits (Sesame Street). In one session of the laboratory, pupils will watch this video. I think is a very good way to learn a content at the same time they are in contact to the foreign language.

Order some pictures about daily routine (get up, have breakfast, get dressed….). In this activity teacher gives some pictures that shown a daily routine and pupils have to put in order. In pairs, they have to talk about what things they do at the beginning of the day, what they do before….
Classify foods according to their origin. Pupils will classify foods in the classroom. We will have a corner with different types of foods (empty boxes, fruits… )

7. Tasks

Draw their own daily routines from get up until go to bed.
After working in pairs and in big group, pupils will have a drawing about their own daily routines. At the end of the activity, each pupil will explain to the rest of the class, the things he/she does in a day.
Make a poster with the origin of foods. In teams of six, pupils must do a poster classifying different types of food.
(Vegetable food and animal food)
